We are delighted to present the first exhibition at Eskenazi Ltd dedicated to Japanese contemporary works. Creations by eight Japanese bamboo artists - all of them masters in their own right - are the focus of this summer show. The twenty-four works range from abstract sculptural creations to modern interpretations of the ikebana flower basket to grace a tea cermony. The strikingly inventive forms demonstrate how these masters have combined complex, traditional weaving skills with a modern, innovative vision.
