This exhibition features a range of early jades, bone carvings, archaic bronzes and inlaid metalwork. The objects range in date from the Neolithic period to the Han Dynasty (206 BC - 220 AD) and many have passed through the hands of renowned collectors such as Luo Zhenyu, Pan Zuyin, Alexandre J. Argyropoulos, Edward T. Chow and Adolphe Stoclet

A remarkable example of an early bronze ritual wine vessel, you, and cover, this piece is first recorded in the nineteenth century in the collection of a famous Chinese connoisseur of ancient bronzes.
