    This exhibition features a range of early jades, bone carvings, archaic bronzes and inlaid metalwork. The objects range in date from the Neolithic period to the Han Dynasty (206 BC - 220 AD) and many have passed through the hands of renowned collectors such as Luo Zhenyu, Pan Zuyin, Alexandre J. Argyropoulos, Edward T. Chow and Adolphe Stoclet

    Notched discs are a rare category amongst Chinese Neolithic and Shang jades and this particular example is notable for its extremely large size and softly polished surface.
