西周早期，约公元前1050年—前975年
一件非常重要的青铜簋，约公元前1000年制造，上面铭刻出资铸造它的贵族的名字“伯矩”。 展览图录介绍伯矩曾定制了许多不同类型的青铜器，皆铭有他的名字，而这件簋是其中最精美的一件。 在近代，它的来源可以追溯到潘祖寅（1830-1890年），19世纪中国首要的青铜收藏家和鉴赏家之一。
