这支笔刻唐代诗人卢纶所作诗词《山中》，极有可能曾属于明晚期著名书法家和诗人黄汝亨。黄汝亨的书法受苏轼等宋大家的影响，他的部分手笔被收录在明代出版的版画图谱《唐诗画谱》中。
