Returns and cancellations
If you are a consumer purchasing online, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason.
To exercise this right, you must notify Eskenazi Ltd within this 14-day period. You must then return the goods to us within 14 days of notifying us of your cancellation. We strongly recommend that returns are sent using a tracked and adequately insured service.
The books should be returned carefully packed and, where reasonably possible, in their original packaging, to Eskenazi Limited, 10 Clifford Street, London W1S 2LJ, UK. You are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods. As this publication is a large and heavy multi-volume set, weighing approximately 23 kg, return carriage may be substantial. Depending on the destination and carrier, we estimate return carriage at approximately £100–£350.
You may inspect the books as you would reasonably be permitted to do in a shop.
We reserve the right to make an appropriate deduction from the refund if the value of the books has been diminished by handling beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish their nature and characteristics.
We will refund the purchase price.
Refunds will be made within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or, if earlier, receiving evidence that the goods have been sent back.
For international returns, the parcel should be clearly declared as Returned Goods.
Any application for the refund of import VAT, customs duties, brokerage fees or other charges paid in the country of destination is the responsibility of the customer.
These cancellation rights are separate from your statutory rights where goods are faulty, damaged or not as described.
